Memphis, TN (abc24.com) - Eleven Memphis children have new families.

Saturday, November 19th was National Adoption Day and the eleven youngsters were adopted, bringing their fondest wish to reality.  A special ceremony was held in a local courtroom in their honor.

For adoptive parent Karla Coleman, there were no doubts about bringing another child into her family.

"It's just something in my heart," Coleman said.  "I've been fostering for 14 years and I would suggest that you give it a chance.  It can be one of the best things you've ever done."

This is the third adoption for Coleman.

The entire month of November is designated as National Adoption Month.
