MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A Memphis pastor was arrested Friday for having sex with a 15-year-old girl while another teen took pictures.
50-year-old Orlando Wallace, an assistant pastor at Lakeview Community COGIC, was arrested Friday, July 6 on charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Especially Aggravated Exploitation of a Minor and Aggravated Statutory Rape.
According to the police affidavit, a 15-year-old girl's guardian reported a picture on the girl's phone of another 15-year-old having sex with Wallace. Investigators spoke with the girl in the photo, who said Wallace had come over to her Whitehaven home and had sex with her while the other teen took pictures. She also told officers that they sent each other sexually explicit photos.
Wallace gave a statement of admission upon his arrest to having sex with the 15-year-old, having it photographed by the other teen, and to exchanging photos and videos of a sexual nature with the girl.
Orlando Wallace was booked at the Shelby County Jail on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 9.
