Memphis Police Officer Charged with DUI in Mississippi

Another Memphis police officer is off the job following a DUI arrest in Mississippi last week.
MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Another Memphis police officer is off the job following a DUI arrest in Mississippi last week.

Officer Adrian Brown, 46, was stopped by Mississippi Highway Patrol around 11 p.m. on Thursday, September 27 for driving northbound on the southbound side of I-55 near mile marker 122 just north of Jackson. Brown was suspected of DUI but refused to take a test. He was charged with driving on the wrong side of the road, DUI and DUI test refusal.

Adrian Brown, assigned to MPD's Airways Station, has been on the force since August 1998. He has been relieved of duty with pay pending the outcome of the investigation.
