""The law abiding home owner SHOULD have weapons to protect from the home invasions, car jackings, abductions."" HMMM. The prohibition on drugs created the situation where the police (and all of those that support the war on drugs) believe that they may invade homes. This situation, and it's tragic result, are a result of the governments' prohibition. They created the problem, they continue to empower the criminals, they make the drugs profitable, and they have NO incentive or desire to end it, because it serves their ends and puts money into their pockets, and people in their prisons. IT HAS TO END.

With animals like that, it gives MORE reason to have weapons for protection. The law abiding home owner SHOULD have weapons to protect from the home invasions, car jackings, abductions. When will the voters go to bat and elect officials who HAVE the law abiding publics saftey in mind and dump liberal judges who slap scum like this on the hands, then let them out, the bastards laugh at all of us. The South didn't have problems till the liberal, cuddling, oh its not ther fault bastards got elected. Get the chain gangs back, take back your city, State and Country folks. Quit crying and move on it. God Bless the officiers.

These drug dealing Thugs make me sick. They live by their own rules!!!! These officers go out everyday and put their lives on the line to keep out city safe. I hope they fry the remaining suspect if he is found guilty. When we run into our officers we need to let them know what a fine job they are doing and how much we as citizens appreciate all they do. GOD BLESS OUR OFFICERS!! AND THANK YOU to of Martoiya Langficer for putting her life on the line and lost it. and to her children and family, I know you will honor and celebrate her life. You will look back and be so proud of her, as you should God be with you and yours. And to officer William Vrooman, Thank you as well and I wish you a speedy recovery.

And this is what passes for leadership im Mempho. What an idiot. Who said anything about the Second Amendment, except A.C.? Musings from a Moron - Mayor A C Wharton added that this incident underlines the need for the city's initiative to reduce gun violence among Memphis youth. "This is why we're going all over the country to find the best methods we can to get the guns out of the hands of the wrong people," Wharton said. "I dare anybody to come up and say this is a Second Amendment right. Nobody has a Second Amendment right to load up and kill a police officer. We're going to redouble our efforts on this." Mayor Wharton has ordered that flags be flown at half mast today out of respect for the slain officer and the city's collective mourning.
