DESOTO COUNTY, MS (abc24.com) - The Memphis Tigers aren't the only Mid-South basketball team in the big dance. Ole Miss won the SEC Championship Sunday, earning a 12 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

It's Ole Miss' first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2002. Needless to say, fans are fired up.

The Rebels face 5-seed Wisconsin Friday morning. It's the first tournament appearance for Ole Miss Head Coach Andy Kennedy, and only the school's seventh.

"I'd be happy to see them win the first game, and once we win that one who knows? It would be great to see them go all the way but I'm not stupid. I'm a fan so we've got to pull for them in every game," said Ole Miss Fan Mike Middleton.

Middleton's not just a fan, he also manages the Fox and Hound in Desoto County. Whereas most businesses see productivity decline during March Madness, his goes up.

"We'll have every single game on. Where else can you go and watch every game right in front of you?"

The game starts at 11:40 Friday morning. Ole Miss has won 26 games this year. The team is just one win from tying the school's season record of 27, which is even more incentive for fans to cheer.
