OLIVE BRANCH, MS (abc24.com) - Police are searching for the suspect who burglarized the Olive Branch Country Club Pro Shop and fled in his vehicle across the golf course Tuesday morning.

Investigators say the masked suspect was caught stealing several sets of expensive golf clubs when an employee arrived to work around 6 a.m. on April 3. The suspect fled in a dark blue 2012 Ford Edge with covered plates across the golf course at a high rate of speed, and exited the property onto the Highway 302 Bypass through a hole he had cut in the chain link fence.

The vehicle likely has damage to the front apron under the bumper and to the suspension. Police think the suspect may try to sell the stolen golf clubs on eBay or craigslist.

Olive Branch Police provided a photo of a vehicle similar to the suspect's. Anyone who has seen this vehicle is asked to call CrimeStoppers at (662) 429-8477 (TIPS) or the OBPD at (662) 895-4111.
