Darden, TN (abc24.com)-- There is still hope that Holly Bobo will return home safely. It has been exactly one year since the 20-year-old nursing student disappeared.
"It has been a year, since our daughter Holly was taken from us." an emotional Karen Bobo, Holly's mom, said Friday night.
Hundreds turned out at the Corinth Baptist Church in Darden, to pray for Bobo.
She was last seen being led into the woods by a man dressed in camouflage.
"We know a year seems like a long time to each of you, but to us, Holly's family, each day seems like an eternity without Holly." said Dana Bobo, Holly's father.
They don't talk about Bobo in the past tense here, and while the mood at the vigil was somber, there is a sense of hope that this story will have a happy ending.
There are the pink ribbons that seem to stretch for miles in Parsons, and posters seemingly everywhere.
This community isn't all talk either. They have raised $250,000 as a reward for Bobo's safe return.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is offering a separate $85,000 reward.
Investigators say they still get tips, as they await the one tip that will provide answers for Bobo's family.
