Police Asking For Help In Armed Robbery Case

On August 14, 2013, at approximately 12:40 a.m., a victim was walking near Mynders and Brister when a male suspect, armed with a handgun, approached him from behind. The suspect told him to lie down and then took his wallet.
MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) - On August 14, 2013, at approximately 12:40 a.m., a victim was walking near Mynders and Brister when a male suspect, armed with a handgun, approached him from behind. The suspect told him to lie down and then took his wallet. The suspect fled the scene in a small gray or silver car, which was driven by another suspect (no description). The vehicle left westbound on Mynders toward Highland.

Shortly afterwards, the suspect used the victim’s credit card at a local business.

The armed suspect is described as a male Black, 19-20 years old, 5'10", 120-130 lbs, dark complexion, wearing a black hat, orange shirt, and black pants.

The suspect’s vehicle is possibly a two-door, gray or silver 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier. The vehicle has damage to the driver’s side rear quarter panel, and both hubcaps are missing from the driver’s side.

The suspect and his vehicle were captured on video.

Investigators need someone to come forward with information about this crime.
