MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Police are looking for a man they say shot two people, including his ex-girlfriend, on Sunday, October 9, 2011, around 11:00 a.m.

Memphis police say they have issued an arrest warrant for 25-year-old Juan Zarco-Perez after they investigated the shooting that happened in the 1900 block of Parnassus Street in the Jackson/Berclair area of Memphis.

Police say when they arrived on the scene they found a 30-year-old woman, Zarco-Perez's ex-girlfriend, and a 32-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to The MED in critical condition.

Police say Zarco-Perez drove to the house on Parnassus, pulled out a gun and shot at the victims several times.

The arrest warrant issued is for attempted first degree murder and domestic violence.

The article clearly states that the two victims were both taken to The Med in critical condition. You attended city schools, huh?

Just curious, what is their status? Why is it we never see that very important aspect reported in these stories?
