Where is Latrice Armstead? She vanished Sunday morning after leaving her east Memphis home. Her car was later found burned and abandoned in Mississippi.
Neighbors of Latrice Armstead call her quiet and God-fearing. The 38-year-old mother hasn't been seen since the morning of July 29th.
Her neighbor, David Love II, told abc24.com he often saw Armstead sitting outside watching her son play with neighborhood kids. He said he was shocked when he watched police cars storm Armstead's home.
He told abc24.com there were "cop cars all down the street, big tall cop go in the house with the AR and clear the house out."
Police were looking for her estranged husband, Tony Bledsoe. Love said he's lived next to the couple for eleven years but never saw signs of trouble. "Nothing but the normal things couples go through."
Bledsoe has had plenty of spats with Memphis police. He's been arrested numerous times, including an arrest for domestic violence in 2010.
At the time of her disappearance, Armstead's mouth was wired shut as the result of a broken jaw.
The mystery surrounding her disappearance intensified after her car was found burned and abandoned in Mississippi. Love says "I just hope everything is ok with her. She's a very nice woman."
