Quick thinking witnesses tried to do the same thing when Lakeisha White was killed in Murfreesboro. The driver tried to dispose of all the open containers he had in his car and proceeded to do damage control at the scene before even checking on Lakeisha. Witnesses pointed the cops at the evidence he tried to dispose of and tried to give sworn statements that contradicted the drivers story. But despite the best efforts of the witnesses, Detective Ron Killings still walked away from the death he caused scott free... Detective Killings was even re-hired by the Rutherford County Sheriffs Department for a short time.
