Security Guard Critically Injured in Shooting

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A security guard was shot early Friday morning as he was getting vehicles to move off a neighboring parking lot.

The shooting happened just after 3 a.m. on Friday, July 20 at the parking lot of Piggly Wiggly on the 3200-block of Winchester. The 43-year-old guard worked at B&N Grill and was shot multiple times while trying to clear patrons' cars from the Piggly Wiggly parking lot. He was transported to The MED in critical condition.

Investigators say there are 3-4 black male suspects last seen in a 4-door gold late model Pontiac or Camry, possibly a 1996 model.
