Shoplifting Leads to Tipton County Meth Arrests

MUNFORD, TN (abc24.com) - Undercover narcotics investigators for the Tipton County Sheriff's Office made two methamphetamine arrests after the subjects were caught shoplifting cold medicine.

On November 17, 2011, 18-year-old Jeremy Shaw and 19-year-old Zac Holiday were seen stealing cold medicine from a Walgreen's in Munford, Tennessee. Officers pulled them over in a traffic stop, and found meth-making materials and the stolen items in the vehicle.

Both suspects were charged with Theft of Property and Promotion of Methamphetamine. Shaw is currently being held on $5,000 bond; Holiday has since been released on bond.
