JACKSON, TN (abc24.com) - A brother and sister team are behind bars at the Madison County Jail after police say they robbed a Lenny's Sub Shop.

Around 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2011, officers were called to a robbery at Lenny's Sub Shop at 744 Vann Drive in Jackson, Tennessee. Investigators say 20-year-old Meloney Robinson entered the sub shop armed with a knife and took money from the cash register. She left the scene in a Oldsmobile Cutlass driven by her brother, 22-year-old Nicolas Robinson.

Police later found the car abandoned on the parking lot of Sam's Club at 2120 Emporium Drive. The knife and clothing worn by Meloney Robinson were recovered inside the car.

Witnesses told police that a man and woman were seen running into Cheddar's at 2116 Emporium Drive. Police followed up on the information and arrested Meloney and Nicolas Robinson on the restaurant patio. The stolen money from Lenny's Sub Shop was found on Meloney Robinson.

Meloney and Nicolas Robinson were arraigned Monday morning in Jackson City Court on a charge of aggravated robbery. They are being held on $75,000 bond.

Where is the compassion for these mis-guided youths? At least they didn't use a firearm, for crying out loud......some community service is in order, maybe have them work at a soup kitchen.....

Almost the perfect crime! Morons. I wonder how much cash they got from the big heist. Probably threw their lives away for $200.
