MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police had their hands full on Beale Street Saturday night after a stabbing at the newly-reopened Club 152 and two "stampedes."

Police say the first stampede broke out just before 1 a.m. Sunday; investigators haven't said what may have caused it. Minutes later, police on bike patrol saw a flash mob form, which caused people to run. Eventually, the crowds dispersed. There were no reports of any injuries, but two windows were broken at A. Schwab's and several were arrested for disorderly conduct.

Officers were also called to Club 152 that same night after a woman was stabbed inside the club while trying to break up a fight on the dance floor. She received a stab wound to her thigh and was transported to The MED in non-critical condition. The suspect, who was known to the victim, left before police arrived. So far there have been no arrests.

Club 152 was shut down by the DA's office early last week, but re-opened in time for the weekend after the club's ownership group struck a deal with prosecutors. The club is under court supervision for a year.
