CORDOVA, TN (abc24.com) - Authorities are searching for a man that robbed the Regions Bank at 640 N. Germantown Parkway in Cordova on Friday, October 21, 2011.

According to a press release, the suspect walking into the bank and gave the teller a note demanding money. The suspect didn't show the teller a weapon, but his actions implied that he had one.

After the suspect left the bank with an unknown amount of money, he ran down the street and got into a van. The van is a blue 2001 Chrysler or Dodge with a TN drive out tag and an "AS-IS" sticker in the window.

The suspect is a black man around 6'1" and 170 pounds. During the robbery he was wearing a tan jacket, white baseball hat and blue jeans. The suspect has a birthmark or mole on his right eye.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on this robbery to call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH.

Are you sure that this guy is "black"? He looks pretty light-skinned to me, and it seems pretty unlikely that a black man would be linked to a crime in the Memphis area.
