Suspects Shoot Guard, Rob Buffet Restaurant in Raleigh

Memphis police are searching for two suspects that shot a security guard and robbed the manager of a Chinese buffet restaurant Sunday night.
MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police are searching for two suspects that shot a security guard and robbed the manager of a Chinese buffet restaurant Sunday night.

Officers were called to the China Inn Buffet at 2829 Covington Pike around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 12. The store manager told investigators the security guard was walking her to her car when they were approached by two armed men with black cloths over their face. They shot the guard and demanded money from the manager. When they refused, the suspects shot at her vehicle and took her cash. They were last seen running towards Summit Apartments.

The guard, 22, was transported to The MED in critical condition, but was later upgraded to non-critical.
