Suspects Wanted for Deadly Shooting near Orange Mound

Memphis police need help identifying two suspects who fatally shot a man near the Orange Mound area Friday morning.
MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police need help identifying two suspects who fatally shot a man near the Orange Mound area Friday morning.

The shooting occurred at a home on the 1400-block of Jeannine around 9:45 a.m. on Friday, November 30. When officers arrived on the scene, they found 38-year-old Derrell Bell dead on the scene from a gunshot wound.

Investigators say Bell and his brother were sitting in the driveway when they were approached by two armed suspects. They tried to force the two victims into the home; when the victims refused, Bell was shot.

Both suspects are black males in their early 20's, last seen wearing dark hoodies and dark pants. One suspect was 6', 180 lbs. with a medium complexion. The other suspect was 5'8", 140 lbs. with a dark complexion.

Video surveillance in the area captured footage of two people matching the suspects' description. Anyone with information on their identities should call CrimeStoppers at (901) 528-CASH (2274).
