MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police are searching for two suspects who shot and killed one victim in an ATM robbery, then shot another victim in an attempted carjacking.

Officers were called to a shooting on the 3000-block of South Perkins near Knight Arnold around 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9. When they arrived on the scene, officers found a vehicle crashed into a utility pole. Investigators say the female driver had just left a nearby Orion Credit Union ATM where two male suspects tried to rob her in her vehicle while she was getting cash. The suspects shot the woman, and she drove off and crashed. The victim was transported to The MED where she was pronounced dead.

The same suspects then tried to carjack a man in the same area, shooting the victim twice as he drove away. The man was transported to The MED in critical condition.

Both suspects ran away before police arrived and remain at large. They are described as black males, with one last seen wearing a white hoodie.

Anyone with information on these suspects should call CrimeStoppers at (901) 528-CASH (2274). You can also submit your tip at 528cash.org, or text the word AWARD to 274637 (CRIMES). You will remain anonymous, and you could be eligible to receive a cash reward.
