MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A TBI Agent is off the job after she was arrested for Public Intoxication early Sunday morning.

Madison County Sheriff's deputies were called to a vehicle that had left the road around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 2 near Medina, just north of Jackson.

All three people in the vehicle were arrested: the driver, Jessica Oliver, charged with DUI; passenger Torry White, charged with Public Intoxication; passenger Heidi White, also charged with Public Intoxication. They were booked at the Madison County Jail and have all been released on bond.

During the arrest, deputies found that Heidi White was a Special Agent Criminal Investigator with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

A TBI Spokesperson stated Tuesday that White was still in the probationary phase of her employment with the agency and has since been fired.

why did she lose her job while members of congress and senate retain theirs after similar situations. it is ridiculous that " we the people " allow " our " elected officials to have a different set of standards.

A drunk passenger? Public intox? During the probationary period they can do what they like, I suppose.

What's the deal myers, you don't want to give this stalwart knight of valor, justice, and revenue the benefit of the doubt in this case? At least she didn't beat a 'suspect' or allow a person in her custody to get shot by SOMEONE.
