MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - The nation's Attorney General is now being asked to take a look at Mo' Money Taxes.

Congressman Steve Cohen (D-TN) wants the U.S. Justice Department to look into Mo' Money as customers in the Mid-South continue to await their tax returns.

Cohen and Congressman Bobby Scott (D-VA) sent a letter on February 8, 2012 making the request to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.

Police in Virginia are investigating Mo' Money after they served search warrants at six Norfolk branches.

The morning of Feb. 8, Mo' Money co-founder Markey Granberry said it is all a misunderstanding and customers should have their checks by Friday, Feb. 10 at the latest.
