Hate to be another negative but young boys who cover up sexual assaults & get away with it at an early age almost always become violent rapists/murders as adults....statistics prove it!!! I say it's good someone got him before he was able to do it to more lil girls as an adult, Didn't they make the rules up to make these kids doing big crimes do adult time? If she was beat in the head there would be ongoing bleeding during her transport to hospital duh!!! Also why would a he give a bath if he knew someone else did it, he'd be washing away the evidence to find the real criminal & if he was concerned about his sister, he wouldn't have done that;) As for the crying I say he panicked after he knew he'd gone too far & couldn't get away with it @ that point (if he's a sociopath, they cry when it's needed) Also why weren't the parents charged if it was proved they were obviously negligent in leaving a child in diapers in the care of male siblings(legal sibling babysitter age is 16yo) long enough for this to atrocity to even happen???

@Becky Don. Did you just make up that drivel ? NO. There was NO physical evidence. This stuff you speak of, what was it ? He had his sister bathed to try clean her up ! He arrived home to find his sister in that state, covered in blood and distraught. What kind of brother would leave her like that, not clean her up and comfort her (they both can be heard clearly in the background of the 911 call crying together, James comforting her. Do you think if he did this to her she would allow that ?) Even then the bath was very poor because she was still covered in blood etc when she was examined ! There would EASILY still be DNA if it was him ! Yes Becky, he lied. I would love to meet a kid who has never lied before. He lied because he didn't want to get in trouble for leaving his brother and sister while he went over the road to try sort out mess related to why there were so many unwelcome kids there. His sister (and brother) were left in the care of another boy (who even admitted sticking a thermometer up the girls bum while he was alone with her) and when James returned this other boy was gone and his sister in that state. What kind of loving kid brother would just leave his sister like that and not TRY clean her up a bit and comfort her !?!? Becky, NO ! NO ! NO ! James had no "previous arrests" for ANYTHING !!! James had no history of trouble with the law WHAT SO EVER !!!! The same can't be said for the other kids there though; all types of history including those you mentioned, even histories of sexual abuse ! For the rest of all you haters; you will get your wish. He will probably die, violently in prison. Put your self in his shoes, imagine if that was you in this situation as an innocent child. There is plenty of information on the Internet about this. Know before you comment. Know before you JUDGE. James has been through hell and will go through a lot worse soon. And to all you haters who think that is a good thing: you are a DISGRACE TO HUMANITY.

@JackHawke he is guilty as charged. There was physical evidence to convict him, there just wasn't any DNA or semen on his sister because he gave her a bath first then ran to his neighbor with the lie of a black man breaking in. It was obviously a lie because he said the robber was black while his friend claimed he was white. If someone else committed the crime, why did he feel it was necessary to give his sister a bath? Also keep in mind that this kid already has previous arrests for auto theft, robbery, and assault. He was old enough to know right from wrong and he received punishment that fit the crime. If he had enough sense to try and blame someone else and to clean up his sister to remove his DNA then he deserves what he received.

This is not a fair case because, the other two boys served no time compared to what J.Prindles is going to serve and if one should serve 25-60 years then all three of them should because all three of them harmed that little innocent girl in a extremely harsh way that can and will affect her for the rest of het life. Where was the parents when all of this was happening?? No one ever bothered to ask that question..#Law isn't fair

There is no way he is guilty. There wasn't even a shred of physical evidence to prove he did it. Here's his side to the story: http://blacktalkradionetwork.com/profiles/blogs/james-prindle-in-his-words

What they did was unspeakable and likely will affect the girl for years to come, but minimum 25 years seems extreme for this 15 year old. He is an immature child himself.

We are still talking about someone’s child. Yes, he did a horrible thing. There is no question about it; however, he is only seventeen and was fifteen at the time. Should we punish someone for the rest of their life for something they did at fifteen? Yes, he should definitely serve some time and receive some type of counseling but 25 to 60 years. Not only is it ridiculous but the boy that was 13, only 2yrs younger, at the time is already done serving his time. IS it really okay that we punish this child to such an extreme extent when we let one go completely and the other serve little to no time?
