MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis police arrested two teen suspects for shooting a security guard in the head at a Parkway Village area apartment complex last week.

Officers were called to reports of shots fired at the Camelot Manor Apartments just before 11:30 p.m. on May 23. When they arrived on the scene, they found the guard on the ground by the security booth suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and his gun stolen. The victim, later identified as 43-year-old Roderick Williams, was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Williams later identified 18-year-old Bernard Johnson and a 17-year-old suspect as the people who robbed and shot him. Johnson was booked at the Shelby County Jail on May 30, charged with Attempted First Degree Murder. He is being held on a $2.5 million bond. The 17-year-old suspect is charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and Especially Aggravated Robbery.
