MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) - After matching donations to the Red Cross by Grizz Nation, Tony Allen and the Memphis Grizzlies will be donating $90,000 to help provide relief to victims of the Oklahoma tornados.

Grizzlies fans made donations at the Western Conference Finals Games 3 and 4 at FedExForum, which were matched by Allen.

“We hope the money that we collected during the Western Conference Finals will help victims of Oklahoma recover from this disaster,” said Allen, who attended Oklahoma State University. “Our hearts continue to go out to all the tornado victims in Oklahoma.”

“I want to thank Grizz Nation, our ownership group and Tony Allen for their generosity,” said Jason Levien, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of the Memphis Grizzlies. “We hope the money raised for the tornado victims will help in the recovery process during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to all the families that have been affected.”
