MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis Police arrested two suspects in a shooting at the Jamesbridge Apartments early Thursday morning.

Officers were called to the apartments just after 1 a.m. on March 29. When they arrived they found a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to The MED in critical condition.

After a description of the suspects was broadcast, 19-year-old Jarrod Murphy and 18-year-old Jesse Hodge were located a short time later in the area. Police saw that Hodge had also been shot and transported him to The MED in critical condition.

Investigators determined that Murphy drove Hodge to the apartments where Hodge went to a woman's apartment. As soon as she opened the door Hodge opened fire. Another woman inside exchanged gunfire with Hodge and both were shot. The woman who opened the door was not injured.

Jesse Hodge is charged with two counts of Criminal Attempt Felony to wit First Degree Murder and Employment of a Firearm During a Dangerous Felony. Jarrod Murphy is charged with two counts of Facilitation of a Felony to wit Criminal Attempt First Degree Murder. Both are being held at the Shelby County Jail on $1 million bond.

I'm sure they have good parents, too. Do you ever get it? Money is the root of all evil. Drugs, gold teeth, perfect shoes, jeans hanging down, killings, are you really so cool?

Raleigh once was nice, but just like every other area, once "they" invade it turns to crap.
