MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - Memphis and Southaven Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that injured two people Monday night.

Memphis police were called to a shooting on Millbranch near the Tennessee state line around 7:20 p.m. on Monday, January 21. Investigators say two vehicles, a red Mustang and a silver Mustang, were both headed south on Millbranch when shots were fired. Both vehicles fled the scene, but the red Mustang was located in a pharmacy parking lot in Southaven a short time later.

Two people were reported with gunshot wounds at Baptist DeSoto; a female victim was in critical condition and a male victim was non-critical. Investigators determined the gunshot victims were in the red Mustang, but did not know if parties in both vehicles were shooting. The second vehicle remains at large.
