ATOKA, TN (localmemphis.com) - The Tipton County Sheriff's office arrested two suspects accused of manufacturing and selling synthetic cannabis, also known as 'Spice'.

Deputies received a tip that the drug was being made at a home on the 1300-block of Idaville Rd in Atoka. Investigators spoke with resident 35-year-old Tavis Fox, who told them he made and sold 'herbal potpourri' and consented to a search.

Investigators seized more than $100,000 worth of Spice, as well as materials and equipment used to make the drug. Fox was arrested and charged with Possession, Manufacturing and Distribution of Imitation of a Controlled Substance.

A second suspect, 34-year-old Jason Forbess, was also arrested on the same charge and booked at the Tipton County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

Fox has since been released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court August 20.
