Victim Critically Injured in Home Invasion Robbery

MEMPHIS, TN (abc24.com) - A fight between three victims and three robbers sent one man to the hospital after a home invasion in the Sherwood Forest area early Sunday morning.

Memphis police were called to a home on Walthal Circle near Park Avenue and Highland Street around 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 1. Officers said that three black male suspects with their faces covered came in through an unlocked door armed with a handgun and demanded money from the three victims inside. A fight broke out between them and one resident, a 58-year-old man, was shot and taken to The MED in critical condition.

The three suspects ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash before officers arrived.

The first suspect is about 6'1", 203 lbs, last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants and a red and white mask. The second suspect was 5'9", 180 lbs, and was wearing a white shirt, black pants and a res ski mask. The third suspect was also in a white shirt and black pants, is about 5'1", 130 lbs, and was wearing a blue ski mask.

Shoddy journalism. Were the suspects white, black, purple? Facial hair? What did they look like? Anyone can change clothes.
