West Memphis Murder Victim's Mother Arrested

For the second time in less than six months, the mother of a "West Memphis Three" murder victim is in trouble with the law.
EARLE, AR (abc24.com) - For the second time in less than six months, the mother of a "West Memphis Three" murder victim is in trouble with the law.

This time, investigators in Earle, Arkansas arrested Pam Hicks for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken into custody early Tuesday morning.

Hicks was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest in Mississippi County last November.

Her son, 8-year-old Stevie Branch, was murdered in 1993, along with his friends Michael Moore and Christopher Byers. Damien Echols, Jesse Misskelley and Jason Baldwin were convicted of their murders. They were released from prison in 2011 after making an Alford Plea deal with the state, meaning they pleaded guilty while maintaining their innocence.
