RIPLEY, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities in West Tennessee are searching for a man suspected of killing a couple in Texas.

Ripley police Lt. Lynn Gould says officers with several West Tennessee law enforcement agencies were looking for Donny Lee Greenhow in Lauderdale County on Thursday afternoon.

Gould says Greenhow was identified after leaving his driver's license at a gas station in Ripley on Thursday morning. An officer ran his license and found that Greenhow was wanted in connection with a double murder in Van Zandt County, Texas.

A capital murder warrant for Greenhow was issued after the bodies of 74-year-old Peter Shick and his 55-year-old wife, Latricia, were found in their mobile home last week.

Officers have found Greenhow's pickup truck abandoned near a fish camp. He is considered armed and dangerous.
