Where Is Holly Bobo?

Search crews searched on foot, in the air, by horseback and by boat for missing 20-year-old Holly Bobo, believed to have been kidnapped.
DECATUR COUNTY, TN - Tennessee’s Governor is getting involved in the search for Holly Bobo. Gov. Bill Haslam has increased the reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of whoever kidnapped Holly Bobo by $50,000. The reward is now $75,000 to solve the case of the missing 20-year-old nursing student. She disappeared Wednesday.

abc24.com is following the search efforts in Decatur County.

Hundreds of people turned out to search for Bobo Monday. Still, there are few answers about what happened to her last Wednesday morning.

“We're doing ok,” said Bobo’s cousin Kathy Johnson. “Just everybody help us that can, and we really appreciate everything that's being done.”

abc24.com rode along on horseback through rough terrain as people search for any sign of Holly.

“I’ve got two girls,” said volunteer Rusty Carrington. “And I think everybody here is wanting closure, answers. Everybody's hopeful and they just want to find her.”

The TBI said evidence and leads are pouring in, but who knows if any of it will lead to Holly.

“You never know what's going to turn up in the next five minutes,” said TBI Director Mark Gwyn. “That's where your hope is. There's a family out here that needs closure, and it's up to us to try to give it to them.”

Family members of Holly Bobo join hundreds of volunteers in the search.

People have been bringing food and supplies from all over to keep the search crews going.

“Truckloads from different states, counties and everywhere,” said volunteer Debbie Pezzuti.

The tiny town of Parsons is painted pink with ribbons and signs saying to pray for Holly.

Volunteers searched by ATVs, by horseback, by foot and by boat for any sign of the missing student.

“You do it for Holly,” said Johnson. “You do it for the family and Holly. Please bring her back safe.”
