Woman Takes Ongoing MLGW Fight to Memphis City Council

A Memphis woman says MLGW overcharged her big time and keeps doing it, leaving her with a utility bill more than $1,700. The problem is so bad the city council now wants answers.

Selling MLGW to a private corporation is about as dumb a notion as it gets. MLG&W is a much cheaper solution than, say, Entergy. How exactly is adding a profit motive going to keep rates down? Obviously some in here have not lived outside of Memphis and Shelby County.

I'M TIRED OF MLGW MYSELF IT SEEMS LIKE YOUR BILL IS HIGHER AND HIGHER EACH MONTH THAT'S WHY I'M MOVING AWAY FROM MEMPHIS I'M SO SICK OF MLGW.

I can not beleive some people. You say the council members dont do anything but when they do people bash. So what, Leave Ms. Fullilove only, this is about MLGW over charging. She has always tried to help the people, and she will. Like you don't have any problems. Get in the public eye, let's see how perfect you are. Thanks you, I approve thie message.

I cannot see how Fullilove is still a council member. How do her constituents think she can make decisions that are good for them when she is an alcoholic and cannot make the right decisions about her own life. Someone needs to encourage her to go to a treatment center and get help

I posted on MLGW Facebook picture of illegal meter on a residence on a saturday evening recently. Called police, fire and MLGW about it. Meter was removed early the next Monday morning. MLGW security would only say they were at address and are watching it. Watching nothing. Person who put meter on the home never questioned or prosecuted. Free electric on weekends. Just have an illegal meter.

gosh, great that fullilove takes an interest in something other than booze and throwing plates at her husband. wonder if she bought any new dishes yet????
