MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - A Memphis man has been sentenced to about four years in prison for his part in a $1 million embezzlement from the Chancery Court Clerk's office in Shelby County.

Thirty-five-year-old Correy Isom also was ordered Friday to pay $1 million in restitution. He had pleaded guilty to a 2008 scheme in which he received money that had been embezzled from the office. Prosecutors said he cashed checks or deposited them and used the funds for his own use.

Brandon Gunn, his co-conspirator, has been sentenced to four years in prison. Gunn was an accounting technician in the office and had access to accounts.
