Missing Man's Truck Found In Tunica County

TUNICA, MS--Investigators say they have found the truck of an Arlington, Tennessee man who has been missing since June.

Officials say George Nicholson's truck was found Wednesday night in a wooded are near the Tunica Cutoff in Tunica County, Mississippi. Nicholson is still missing.

Nicholson was last seen June 29th when he left his home to go to Horseshoe Casino in Tunica. He is 82-years-old and in the early stages of dementia. He was driving his red 2005 GMC Sierra pickup truck with Tennessee tag 779-JLP.

Tunica investigators say they have secured the scene and will resume their search for Nicholson early Thursday morning.

I don't feel optimistic due to the length of time that he has been missing. But, for his sake and th sake of his family I hope they find him unharmed. I can't even imagine the pain that this family has endured all this time.
