Northern Colorado cornerback suspended for illegal hit

Ogden, UT (Sports Network) - The Big Sky Conference suspended Northern Colorado cornerback Courtney Hall for one game Wednesday for an illegal hit in this past Saturday's game against Weber State.

Hall, a sophomore from Pompano Beach, Fla., will be suspended for Northern Colorado's season finale on Saturday against North Dakota.

He was suspended for a hit with the crown of his helmet with only 17 seconds left in Northern Colorado's 42-34 victory over Weber State in Ogden. He was penalized on the play.

Northern Colorado has a 4-6 record.
