Man Behind Bars After Trying To Cut Off Victims Ear & Finger

A Memphis man is behind bars after police say he broke into a South Memphis home, then tried to cut off the victim's finger and ear.
MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) - A Memphis man is behind bars after police say he broke into a South Memphis home, then tried to cut off the victim's finger and ear.

Police arrested 39-year-old Troy Joyner after he forced 2 men inside a home, tied them up, then pistol-whipped them.

He then drug one of the men into another room and demanded money.

Once the victim gave him all his money Joyner thought he had more so he stabbed the man with a knife and attempted to cut off his ear and finger.

Joyner is behind bars on a $750,000 bond. He's charged with aggravated robbery, kidnapping, and other charges,

Turns out, Joyner is cousins with one of the victims.

Police are now searching for a second suspect.
