Police Searching For Suspect In Circle K Robbery

On Monday, October 28, 2013, Circle K located at 6565 Mt. Moriah was robbed by a lone gunman at approximately 3:44am.

MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) - On Monday, October 28, 2013, Circle K located at 6565 Mt. Moriah was robbed by a lone gunman at approximately 3:44am. The suspect, posing as a customer, was permitted entry into the locked business. Once in, the suspect followed the cashier back to the cashier’s station and produced a black handgun. The victim was forced into the cashier’s station and was made to give the suspect currency from both registers. The suspect also took the victim’s purse as he was making his escape.

The suspect was occupying an older model gold 4 door SUV, possibly a Dodge Durango. His last direction of travel is unknown. The suspect made away with an undetermined amount of currency from the business.

This subject is best described as a male Black, approximately 35-40 years of age, approximately 5’7”, approximately 180 pounds, last seen wearing a red hat with the letters BULLS in black, a black and gray jacket, khaki pants, and black shoes. The suspect was armed with a black handgun.

Investigators need someone to come forward with information to help solve this crime. No arrests have been made at this time.
