The National Transportation Safety Board just released its preliminary report on last weeks’ medical helicopter crash that killed a pilot and two hospital workers.
MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) - The National Transportation Safety Board just released its preliminary report on last weeks’ medical helicopter crash that killed a pilot and two hospital workers.

The report shows that the helicopter was headed East when it started to climb and made a right turn to the South, away from the planned course.

The helicopter was going 112 miles per hour and was more than 1500 feet above sea level.

The report states the helicopter crashed in a wooded area near Somerville about 6:05 that morning.

The medical team was on their way to pick up a sick child when the accident happened.
