Trial Begins In Double Ax Murder Case

The case began Tuesday in the case of a man charged in a double ax murder.
MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) - The case began Tuesday in the case of a man charged in a double ax murder.

Joshua Cline's trial started Tuesday morning in a downtown Memphis courtroom.

Investigators said Cline murdered his uncle, Donnie Ellsworth and Ellsworth's Girlfirend Jerri Meister.

The victim’s bodies were found on Christmas Eve 2010 inside their home on Brower St. in the U of M area.

Both were covered with bloody sheets.

Police said their prescription medication, cash, and a credit card were missing.

Cline is charged with two counts first degree murder.
