FORT SMITH, Ark. (AP) - A judge has delayed trial until November 2014 for a man accused of using a machete to kill two people in Fort Smith.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for 20-year-old Gregory Aaron Kinsey. He's accused in the June 26 attack that killed 39-year-old Brandon Prince and 32-year-old Nathan Young.

Both victims were from Fort Smith.

The Southwest Times Record reports trial was to have begun in February. Defense lawyers asked for the delay, saying they have about 250 people to interview and thousands of documents to review.

Jury selection is to start Nov. 13 and trial is to begin Nov. 17.

Kinsey faces two counts of capital murder.
