Delta Airlines is offering a sale on Memphis airfares. You heard right, cheap fares from one of the most expensive places to fly in the country. The sale comers within hours of the Memphis Airport Authority approving a new lease with Delta that critics call a sweetheart deal.

More than 3,500 people have responded to a Facebook page where they can complain about Delta Airlines and the high fares in and out of Memphis. Congressman Steve Cohen is one of the latest to join. Watch Video

Delta Air Lines is cutting flights from Memphis International Airport by 18 percent. The reductions will also affect airports in Nashville, Knoxville and other Southern cities.
