Gov. Mike Beebe says he supports Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long's firing of Razorbacks football coach Bobby Petrino.

The University of Arkansas announced Tuesday that Jessica Dorrell, the 25-year-old mistress to former coach Bobby Petrino, resigned as the football program’s student-athlete development coordinator, effective immediately.

Bobby Petrino is out as the football coach at Arkansas, athletic director Jeff Long announced at a Tuesday evening news conference.

University of Arkansas officials will consider limiting enrollment at the flagship campus in Fayetteville.
