Brad Broders is a reporter for ABC24 in Memphis, bringing two decades of broadcast news experience. He joined the team in March of 2015 and loves calling the Bluff City home.

Brad prides himself on highlighting exclusive stories with exclusive voices and being firm but fair on the leading news stories of the day. Since 2020, he's specialized primarily in covering the latest COVID-19 news in the Mid-South and also enjoys covering live breaking news, major court cases and local politics.

A North Carolina native, Brad graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Tar Heels!) with a double major, a Bachelor's in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. He enjoys utilizing both fields of expertise in his daily reports. While Brad grew up in the Charlotte area and is a huge fan of the Hornets and Panthers, he quickly adopted a deep passion and love for anything Memphis Tigers or Memphis Grizzlies.

Before coming to Memphis, Brad reported at Spectrum News in Charlotte, WIFR in Rockford, IL and WJFW in Rhinelander, WI. His diverse reporting experience includes covering hurricanes, interviewing presidential candidates during various elections and providing hours of nonstop live coverage during high profile demonstrations. Brad enjoys most in hearing passionate, unique stories from everyday citizens, highlighting challenges and finding solutions. Brad's work drew national attention and was featured on several national news shows, including a lengthy interview on ABC's 20/20 in September 2020.

In his spare time, Brad enjoys long walks and bike rides in the sunshine, growing his record collection and listening to his favorite band, Pearl Jam. He is a huge fan of many food genres, even though he's not the greatest cook (or cook at all). Brad lives in Memphis and has two rescue dogs, Poppy and Eddie.
