MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Before moving to Memphis, Brittni worked as a digital MMJ and Digital producer for CBS/ Fox affiliate in Peoria, Illinois. There, she uncovered major hiring issues within city departments, exposed challenges in the black community, and spearheaded the digital-first department.
She also worked as a staff writer for a West Texas newspaper called, Snyder Daily News and KFYO News/Talk Radio, a Lubbock-based news/talk radio station as a radio news anchor.
In her free time, the Dallas native enjoys binge-watching television shows on Hulu and Netflix. The Walking Dead, Grey’s Anatomy, All-American, The Good Doctor and Law & Order: SVU is among some of the shows she enjoys watching.
She also enjoys experiencing new restaurants, community events, and volunteering.
Brittni describes herself as a goal-driven, hardworking person with a passion for holding people accountable, and giving a voice to the voiceless.
Brittni is also a member of NABJ and the NAACP.
