NEW ALBANY, Miss. (localmemphis.com) – PETA is honoring a dog named Dudley and the New Albany,Mississippi, fire department after a house fire last month.

PETA says Marvin Foster was showering July 30th when afire broke out. He said his dog Dudley opened the bathroom door and alerted himto the smoke. Foster and his son made it outside, but say Dudley was stilltrapped in the home.
