MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – A local Ministry served the homeless in our community an early Thanksgivingmeal Wednesday.
Serving in Christ Outreach Ministry hosted a Thanksgiving feast atFirst Congregational Church in Cooper-Young.
Organizers say they expected to serve as many 300 people.
“This is a time of thanksgiving, a time for us to reflectnot only on the goodness of God and how thankful we are for what God is doingin our lives, but to be able to share with those who are less fortunate,” said BarbaraGreen, Pastor, Bethel AME.
This is the ninth year for the annual Thanksgivingfeast at the church.
