Local non-profit is “baking memories” for kids with life-threatening illnesses

A local foundation is baking memories for kids who live with life-threatening or terminal illnesses.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – A local foundation is baking memories for kids who live with life-threateningor terminal illnesses.

The non-profit “Baking Memories 4 Kids” providesall-expense paid trips to those children and their families to take their mindsoff of the daily challenges, while making magical memories together.

5-year-old Trennen lives with Spina Bifida and has had nine majorsurgeries on his brain and spine.

The group surprised him and his sister Grayson with a much-neededvacation.

“They’ll be getting on a plane next October, andthey will be heading down to Orlando, and they will get to go to UniversalStudios, Sea World, Legoland, and all of the Florida amusement parks,” said FrankSqueo, Founder of Baking Memories 4 Kids. “Not only that, but they’re going toget front of the line passes in all the parks, so they’ll never have to wait onanother line at any of the parks.”

This year, Baking Memories 4 Kids raised nearly $18,000for local families through a partnership with 170 quick-service restaurants in Arkansas,Tennessee, and Mississippi.
