Memphis rapper OG Boo Dirty hosts Breast Cancer Bowl

Several youth football teams joined the fight against breast cancer Thursday night.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Several youth football teams joined the fight against breast cancer Thursday night.

Local rapper Lance Taylor –who goes by OG Boo Dirty, but Thursday was known as Coach Boo of the Memphis Ducks– started the Breast Cancer Bowl five years ago in Northaven. It includes teams like the Whitehaven Ravens, Memphis Giants, Whitehaven Dynamite, and the Memphis Cowboys. The goal is to get young players together, play some football, and raise awareness about a disease that impacts so many families.

“You can see, look at the crowd. We all love and enjoy doing this, that’s what we’re here for. We put in time every day, three to four days a week with these boys and come out on the weekend and play some good football,” said Taylor.

A total of 15 teams were involved in the Breast Cancer Bowl this year.
