MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – After announcing it will move from downtown to east Memphis, Raymond James financial firm will get a tax break of about $3.2 million.
Wednesday the Economic Development Growth Engine board, known as EDGE, approved the payment in lieu of taxes to help pay for the move. In exchange, the company promised to add 100 jobs which would pay about $64,000 a year.
