MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Criminal records for the teenager charged with killing prominent businessman Phil Trenary could help the case of the two adults charged.
The former President of the Greater Memphis Chamber was shot andkilled in downtown Memphis in September 2018.
Three people were charged in his murder; Quandarius Richardson, McKinneyWright, and a teen girl.
The girl’s case was resolved in a closed-door juvenile courthearing. The result of that trial was kept secret.
Richardson and Wright’s attorneys want to see records from thatcase to find out what happened in the hearing, including statements from theteen on what happened the night Trenary was killed.
Both Richardson and Wright are due back in court January 16th.
